This book was good for an introduction. However, I found myself wanting more. The Red Hat Documentation on KVM was used to augment my studies after reading this book.
Excellent book!
I was hoping for something more. Something that might provide some additional insight into how to master KVM. But this is just a basic KVM on Fedora Linux setup walkthrough.
I read the whole book and found so much information on topics like KVM internal, Software Defined Networking, Ovirt, Openstack, Performance issues, V2V/P2V. I have never found a single book which covers all topics related to KVM. This book deserves more then 5 stars.
This is a must-have for those interested in open source virtualization. It's well written with easy examples and comprehensive architectures. Moreover, Humble Chirammal is one of the most skilled KVM, Kubernetes and Gluster hacker around. Simply the best KVM book I have read so far.
An excellent book on virtualization, I havent found any book which detail the internals and details of virtualization technology. A simple book to read, packed with practical trading knowledge you can use. You will learn a lot on KVM, Qemu, Libvirt..etc from this book. I recommend this book for everyone who use virtualization or want to learn about virtualization.
